Oh, Uvita. Our beautiful escape on the Pacific coast. The most idyllic place I have ever been. A long stretch of sandy beach lined with palm trees and blanketed in salty air. Early mornings and lazy afternoons. Sandy legs. Sand dollars. Brilliant sunshine. Quenching rain storms. Treasured togetherness.

We spent five days in this brilliant place – laughing, lounging, swimming, growing. The following photos are from a morning walk during the low tide with our beautiful friend María Isabel. She is a 61-year-old powerhouse with a zest for life and contagious good energy. The four of us strolled down the beach for hours, telling stories and gushing over the beauty of this world. My heart still feels full from this experience. Love is everywhere.

  1. Wonderfully gorgeous photos and writing, Emma! Keep on enjoying! And thanks for writing about the reality of the 2nd farm. Sadly things like that do happen and you made such a wise choice to leave!
